radio station

so many things happen
people go live
it's awake all night
sets your mood
makes you feel good with the goodies
dedications, request, we listen to all of you
and few lakhs listen to all of us
we are the radio people
few and privileged
we know what's behind the unseen
or the unheard
people get unsocial coz they work in radio
miss appointments
have fights back home with wife, girlfriends, family
yet they love doing what they do
i call it radio activity
blabbering to many
but well researched to us
songs to others but themes to us
we celebrate, we mourn, we excite, we set the mood, we make you feel nostalgic, we create the theatre of mind
and all for nothing from your pocket, it comes with your mobile, or the old radio set in the pan ki dukan or it being played in the bus or the cab on your way back to home, office, etc.
love, fun, feeling good, calling up , requesting makes us closer to reality
but we have a life of our own
which is real and live ..no faking..no make ups....no lights..no cameras..it's radio..it's local , topical and relevant...radio isn't ga ga...it's just like a habit you grew up with...remember the days when there was no television, radio thrived...and today radio peopel are smiling a lot ...coz FM has brought back those days in a new bottle ...for young and old 24 X 7...radio rocks
