whai if???

i always have this habit of wondering what if....
and it began today with the person sitting opposite my desk..my colleague, buddy...
he was sad, down, irritated and was deeply engrossed into the screen of his laptop...i ignored ..cos that's him everyday..overworked...overtensed...thats a totally different story..but today i found out its cos he cudn't log in to his facebook!!
and he even checked it from my comp..still no help...called up his another friend took help...no improvement
later sometime..it started working..and few seconds back he even asked how to arrange his albums

talking about him to another colleague of mine..no bitching..i realised how things have changed
we get worried if we can't chat over g-talk
or scrap on orkut
or log in to facebook
or do something else on something another website
social networking has got a totally new meaning
virtual ids the today's real
great way to steal moments from working hours
but how did we really socialise in the yester years?
called up over phone
fixed a date and time
voila ...socialising made simple
but then we cudn't cover the distance we do while logging into our accounts
yet things were so real
or is it ?
am confused
and need a break
